Clearfield County Cancer Support Inc.
Mike & Sonya Greene founded Clearfield County Cancer Support, Inc., in 2016. The foundation, made up of volunteers (no paid officers), is dedicated to help cancer patients ease their financial burdens by providing financial support for basic needs (e.g., gas cards or payment of utility bills) allowing them to focus on their treatment, not a bill they are unable to pay.
We raise funds through donations, fundraising activities and events throughout the year.
We are not associated or affiliated with Relay for Life or the American Cancer Society.
NOTE: 95% of funds raised benefit cancer patients living in Clearfield County. Only a small portion is for expenses.
Support group helps pay everyday expenses for cancer patients
“Our main goal is to help as many people as we can who are going through cancer treatment,” Mike Greene, co-founder of the foundation, said. “We help them pay their financial obligations so they can be focused on their own health and recovery.”
